Kate Kline May has exhibited in one person shows at Zeit Foto Gallery,Tokyo, Grace Teshima Gallery, Paris and in a major group show at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Her portfolio “Innocents” of 40 images is in the permanent collection of the Oakland Museum and three of her films are in the collection of Pacific Film Archive Berkeley California. May’s pictures appear in books, national periodicals, and many websites for wineries, distillers, restaurants, and hotels.
May lectures on the history of photography, women photographers, and California photography for Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in Berkeley.
Recent clients include: Slow Food San Francisco, Seedling Project San Francisco, Happy Girl Foods, Greenwood Ridge Winery, Duckhorn Wines, Navarro Vineyards, Handley Wines, Boonville Hotel, Lifelong Medical Clinics, and Masse’s Patisserie.
