Kate Kline May has exhibited in one person shows at Zeit Foto Gallery, Tokyo, Grace Teshima Gallery, Paris and in a major group show at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. May's photography is included in the Oakland Museum Permanent Collection, Bancroft Library, & many university libraries.

Her film "Alice Underground", a contemporary interpretation of Lewis Carroll's original. The film was featured on KQED San Francisco, won a top award at the San Francisco Film Festival Bay Area Showcase, was included in a BBC series on Lewis Carroll, and featured in many American film festivals. The film is currently distributed by FANDOR films. May's documentary film "Shakespeare's Children" won the Golden Apple, screened in numerous international festivals including San Francisco, Denver International, Santa Barbara,Taos, Northwest, & Hong Kong. Her films are available in the Pacific Film Archive of Berkeley, California.
